For six immersive days, you will discover the intersection of history and flavor that makes Italy one of the world's most vibrant cultures. This is a travel experience for the curious mind, designed to bring you into a deep understanding of what it means to gather in a land where wine has been the center of identity for 3,000 years.

Umbria is more than a destination; it is Tanya’s ancestral home and the subject of her academic expertise. Because of this, we are not merely tourists; we are family. You will be welcomed into the fold everywhere we go—from the white tablecloths of gastronomic Michelin restaurants to the rustic warmth of a winemaker’s home table. We will explore ancient Etruscan caves where sparkling wine re-ferments in the dark, hunt for truffles in the earth, and engage in farm-to-table cooking with celebrated chefs.

The Journey

This year features an entirely new program based in the stunning cliffside town of Orvieto, allowing for moments of leisure in Italy’s most beautiful setting. We will also journey to Montalcino for an exclusive overnight stay, where we will be received by the Consorzio for a private master class in Tuscany’s most lauded region.
