NaKenge Adisa is a Winemaker and Certified Sommelier, with degrees in Winemaking, Viticulture, Culinary Arts, and Global Studies. He is also an experienced educator and advocate for inclusive experiences in food and wine.
As a sommelier and wine director, NaKenge has worked at lauded PNW restaurants such as Canlis and Goldfinch Cafe at the Four Seasons Hotel. In his career as a winemaker, NaKenge was Washington State’s first Black winemaker. Over the years NaKenge has made wine for Washington's most iconic producers -- including Efeste, Delille, Leonetti, Corliss and Rasa Vineyards. He has recently launched his own label, Parousia Cellar, whose first vintage will be released into the world in 2022.
