Study Trips with Tanya Morning Star Darling offer the unique opportunity for an intimate full immersion experience, as students learn about the culture, history, and wines of a region. Tanya leads small group tours where her relationships can open unique doors, providing an experience which would be unattainable for the independent traveler.
Tuscany & Umbria, Italy Study Trip
September 11-18, 2021 (TRIP FULL)
Students will explore the wines of Eastern Tuscany & Umbria with Tanya Morning Star Darling. We will base out of Piegaro, Umbria. Students will visit the very best wine producers, cook together (including custom cooking classes at the villa), eat at amazing restaurants, and explore the art and culture of the region.
This trip is limited to 15 travelers.
Trip will include:
7 nights accommodation at Villa at L'Antica Vetreria, a 10th century former glass factory with a great hall, library, piano, kitchens, outdoor swimming pool, and private bathroom for each bedroom. Rooms can be configured with either one King, or two twin beds, occupancy depending.
6 full days of touring & winery visits where many inside secrets, and otherwise unattainable experience will be enjoyed through the intimate local relationships of Tanya and her family with this region, it's people, history, and wines!
