Service Description

Understand the sensory impacts of each choice a winemaker has within the Method: the blend, base wine fermentation, ML, lees aging, Maillard effect,  use of reserve wines, and vintage impacts. In this unique 2.5 hour workshop, we will taste 9 wines, and compare side-to-side wines which employ different winemaking choices, to come away with a deep and concrete understanding of champagne's diverse sensory opportunities, and their meaning. This unique 3 hour sensory Workshop includes 4 flights of 2-3 wines, and a light lunch. Note: I will offer this class again for everybody, but this time around, registration is only open to Trade, and WIne Certification Students (WSET/WSG/CMS/Hospitality Students), and is priced simply to hold your place.
