This special Master Class will be led by Tanya Morning Star and NaKenge Adisa! After a recent journey through Beaujolais, I am thrilled to propose a deep dive into the appellations, terroirs, and cultural history of Beaujolais. It will be an extraordinary opportunity to taste, as well. We will open classic examples of every Beaujolais style: Village, Nouveau and ALL 10 Crus, Nouveau, Villages wines and Beaujolais AOC (that's all appellations of Beaujolais!) From the carbonic-macerated and oft-misunderstood Nouveau to age-worthy and structured Cru wines, Beaujolais wines are inaccurately and frequently characterized as less than their Northern cousin, Bourgogne. In fact, Beaujolais wines showcase an exciting range of quality, pleasure, and personality, all for an incredible value. Join us as we reveal one of the best-kept secrets of the wine world -- the unsung hero Gamay -- and open up a celebration-worthy selection of this region's best examples.
