About the Event
In depth study of Spain's wine producing regions including: grape varieties, origin of cultivars, geological exploration, vine cultivation and viticulture, history of the regions winemaking, food specific to each region, and regulations for wine categories. 6 weeks of lectures, and one review session for this course will take place in the virtual classroom, with a sensory evaluation of representative wines assessed in an in-person tasting lab, before the exam. Materials fee will be assessed. Students must be 21 years of age to participate in wine tasting.
Tuition: $795
Tuition Includes: 6, 3 hour classes + 1 review session (20 hours of instruction), certification exam, study manual, and Wine Scholar Guild online learning modules.
Wine Flight: $100 (Paid separately)
Class meets on Mondays via zoom, 6pm - 9pm (with a 20 minute break)
